Don’t Put All Communications Eggs in Social Media Basket

Most consumers prefer to connect with brands via word of mouth, e-mail and company websites rather than social media channels, according to a report by digital ad agency Razorfish.

The report finds that being willing to engage customers is more important than using the latest social technology. Ultimately you “should worry less about building out numerous channels and touchpoints and more about ensuring each customer interaction communicates value,” Razorfish says in the report.
