Top Aid to UK Leader Resigns over Phone Hacking Scandal

The on-going row in the UK over a tabloid scandal involving hacking into celebrities’ and the Royals’ cell phones has forced David Cameron’s top communications aid to resign from his post.

I find that Andy Coulson’s comment, “when the spokesman needs a spokesman, it’s time to move on” an interesting way to step down without admitting any guilt.

It also goes to show you that your digital communications are not secure. Think about that the next time you want to transmit confidential information via text or cell phone voice mail.
